Preparing Yourself for Your Visit
to Your Tax Accountant

This is a good example of how sharing what seemed like a
financially insignificant personal detail led to a significant change
in her filing – and, in fact, saved this client money!

If you are mailing us your tax information, rather than scheduling
an appointment in our office, please remember to provide all of
your contact information so that we may update our files.

We are always looking for ways to help make our clients' tax
season experience less painful.  To that end, we've added a
couple of
spreadsheets to our website.  Currently, we have the
Business Income and Expenses check register and the Rental
Property spreadsheet. These can be used throughout the year to
record income and expenses and to reconcile your business check
book.

Recently, I've created a yearend spreadsheet for
Service
Businesses and one for Inventory Businesses.  These can also be
found on our Spreadsheets page.  When you come in for your tax
appointment it is really helpful for you to have your expenses
totaled in their respective categories, and these spreadsheets
will help you do just that.

If you did not receive our post tax season newsletter "The
Bottom Line," please let us know and we'll get one to you ASAP,
or you can download the Adobe file
here.
